Diary vs. Blog

Since the advent of Internet, the paper version of a personal log, the Diary, has come out in a very big way... Nowadays, everyone and their dog has some form of blog or other, whether it's serious stuff like Blogger, glittery gawdy teenage-y sites like MySpace, or the frequently down Xanga (from personal experience). Nobody keeps a diary now. With Weblogs (source of the word "Blog"), thoughts and opinions which were once private are now paraded in front of huge, anonymous audiences.

Heck, even we webcomic creators are semi-blogging. Look at the lil' section stuffed with words below each update....
